Dustfree Induction and Dispersion

چکیده
Mixing of powder into liquid is very easy: You simply pour it onto the surface of the liquid and then you mix it in. It is quite clear that this creates a lot of dust – powder falls beneath the vessel but knifes and other equipment may fall into the vessel instead. It is obvious that powder sticks to the walls of the vessel and other devices inside and it is supposed to be normal, that lumps and agglomerates are built up when the powder comes in contact with the liquid. It takes a long time and strong shear to break and disperse them again. The addition of powders into liquids is known as dusty, dirty and unhealthy, for the operator as well as for the process.

Construction of a dose – response curve by induction of premature chromosome condensation for biological dosimetry
Premature Chromosome Condensation (PCC) appears to have a possible utility for biological dosimetry purposes. The PCC technique may be adapted for cases of suspicion of overexposure where sampling is performed at least one day after an accident. For this purpose, human blood samples were exposed in vitro to 60Co up to 10 Gy and the PCC technique was performed immediately after irradiation. Anal...
متن کاملComparison of some dispersion-corrected and traditional functionals with CCSD(T) and MP2 ab initio methods: dispersion, induction, and basis set superposition error.
We compare dispersion and induction interactions for noble gas dimers and for Ne, methane, and 2-butyne with HF and LiF using a variety of functionals (including some specifically parameterized to evaluate dispersion interactions) with ab initio methods including CCSD(T) and MP2. We see that inductive interactions tend to enhance dispersion and may be accompanied by charge-transfer. We show tha...
متن کاملQuantifying Metrical Ambiguity
This paper explores how data generated by meter induction models may be recycled to quantify metrical ambiguity, which is calculated by measuring the dispersion of metrical induction strengths across a population of possible meters. A measure of dispersion commonly used in economics to measure income inequality, the Gini coefficient, is introduced for this purpose. The value of this metric as a...
متن کامل[The effect of esmolol on corrected-QT interval, corrected-QT interval dispersion changes seen during anesthesia induction in hypertensive patients taking an angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor].
BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES The importance of minimizing the exaggerated sympatho-adrenergic responses and QT interval and QT interval dispersion changes that may develop due to laryngoscopy and tracheal intubation during anesthesia induction in the hypertensive patients is clear. Esmolol decreases the hemodynamic response to laryngoscopy and intubation. However, the effect of esmolol in decreasi...
متن کاملArrhythmogenic cardiomyopathy of the right ventricle. Predictive value of QT interval dispersion to assess arrhythmogenic risk and sudden death.
OBJECTIVE To determine in arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy the value of QT interval dispersion for identifying the induction of sustained ventricular tachycardia in the electrophysiological study or the risk of sudden cardiac death. METHODS We assessed QT interval dispersion in the 12-lead electrocardiogram of 26 patients with arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy. We...
